Today's Facebook Application Review is about the new app called Dorthy's American Dream. I guess that because every day we are getting closer to the election's day more and more application related with this are coming up.

I chose this Facebook Application because is way different that all the others that are looking for followers to vote one or another candidate, and I thought that the readers of this Facebook Blog would like to know what else besides party advertisement is out there to represent them.

Dorothy's American Dream is a simple and hope giver application where once you install it you have the chance to declare your dream to the Facebook universe. Once the dream has been posted people can show their support to your dream (or you can support other people's dreams) by endorsing them.

I must say that after reading some of the published dreams such as Brittany's " for people to be able to live the American dream with good paying jobs, educational opportunities, health care, and a government that does not feel the need to invade our privacy." I felt that still there is always hope for a brighter future.

I really liked this Facebook Application that gives a space for positive wishes and dreams, so my qualification for this Facebook Review is 4.1 out of 5. I am always looking for good vibes and this application definitely transmits that.

Today's Facebook Review is about the Application that in the current days can help very much to all the undecided Facebook users who facing the upcoming elections have no idea whom they should vote to.

Yes, this Facebook Application called Election Patterns, will let your decision be guided according to the deepest traits of your personality. Providing you an interesting perspective of which of the candidates match better with all the things that identify you as a person who shortly will be assuming his duty as an American citizen.

The thing that I really like about this Application is that the whole questionnaire is made around personality questions that at first sight have nothing to do with the candidates. After finishing the short and clear questionaire this Facebook Application will ask you some extra information (this time related with the elections) in order to find patterns in between the potential voters, their personalities and their favorite candidates.

I think this is a great Application to help the undecided to choose for a candidate, and once for all assume responsibility in the current affairs. Today's Facebook Review is about the Application called the Wishlist which is exactly what you might imagine while reading the title of the App.

Basically once you install the Application you ll get the Sortprice.com search engine. Then you have write the name of any product that you would like to add to your wishlist and after this you make the search.

Once the results are showed there are different things that can be done.

1. Add the product to your Whishlist so as to give a clue to your Facebook friends on what you are expecting to receive in your future anniversaries.
2. You can share the product found with all your Facebook friends by posting it on your profile, or with somebody in particular by sending the description of the product in a personal message.
3. You can make a Review of the product.
4. You can visit the Shop site where the product is being sold.

One good thing about this application is that you see your friends Whishlists which is good when you run out of ideas for presents and also the fact that this whole Facebook Application is based in the Sortprice results which are very accurate and good for the customers.

So my qualification for this Facebook Application Review is 4.3, I like application like this one that help the Facebook users to make smart buying.

Hey there, Today's Facebook Review is about the Application called What would you buy?, the Smarter Shopping Application.

By now you might be able to tell what this Facebook Application is about and you are probably right... is about sharing your opinions and asking for your friends ideas about things that you Would like to buy. So let's get it on with the Review.


When you install the Application you have to follow 4 simple steps in order to create the Poll that later will be voted by your Facebook friends.

First you have to think a question which will work as the title of the Poll... in my case looking for the best accesories for my Iphone I wrote "Iphone Accesories". Once the question has been saved you have to move to the second step where you have to chose the possible options by browsing (very good and fast browsing by the way) inside the Application. To make it more accurate the App itself offers Categories as well so as to be sure that the search is being done in the right place.

Once the options have been chosen (maximum 3 products at the same time), it's time to ask for your Facebook friend's Opinions.... and that's it.

Good things about the application are of course the Search engine that is very accurate and also the fact that if you feel like buying the prodcut by clicking on this Facebook Application you will be taken to smarter.com where you can find all the places where this products are being sold so as to get the best possible deal.

Also inside the Application you can make a Shopping list where you can add all the products that you would like to buy.... (this is a good way to avoid undesired presents!!).

In general Ireally liked the Application because some times is useful to ask for a second opinion regarding future purchases, and also the fact that even thoug this application is about comparing things and asking our things what do they think about them you get also the chance to make the actual buying in a good deal.

For all this the qualification of this Facebook Review is 4.3 they made a good job with this app.

Facebook Application Review of Agonymous

Today's Facebook Application Review is about the new App called Agonymous, name that comes from two words that are the heart of this interesting Application - Agony and Anonymous.

Yes my friends this Application will let you post your Agony, that little thing that is burning inside of you and you need to take it out. Once the Agony is posted other Facebook users will have the possibility to write a comment to help you find that support or answer that you couldn't have before.

So Basically once you install this cool Facebook Application you will get the chance to write your Agony, or read other peoples Agonys and post comments on them. Because the Application will create a profile on every user that installs Agonymous, you will be able to subscribe to Agonies that you might find interesting so as to receive alertes every time somebody makes a comment on them. Plus the functionalitty of building a personality according to what the other Facebook users think about the comment that are made.


One of the most interesting and important things of this Application is that it will always let you stay anonymous (if you want to - of course) every time you post an Agony or a comment on one of them. So you can feel free to really be yourself without feeling scared of being judge by others.

I really liked this Application for several reasons being one of them how good and smart they created a web 2.0 Application around an interesting issue such as Agonies. And another reason is that the application offers everything that could be asked from a user perspective form an Application like this.

My qualification of this Facebook Review is 4.5 out of 5, great application based in a very good idea and because of it's smart approach to the well known Web 2.o mixed with all the strenght of our favorite Social Network Facebook

Facebook Application Review of myPick U.S, Election 2008

Today's Facebook Review is about the new and current Facebook Application called myPick U.S. Elections 2008.... and yes this app is about one of the most important events that the US is living these days (besides the banks falling apart).

When I was doing this Facebook Review the first thing that came to my head was when I did in this same blog a Review of an Application about the elections in Canada, and now almost one year later this Application in front of me covering the same topic (different country of course) and all the improvements and differences (good ones) that we can see on this Facebook Application compared to the one made some time ago.


When you install this Application the first thing you have to do is to fill the state where you are located and also chose a slogan that could identify your campaign. Once you finish with this, you have to answer two simple questions related with the coming elections, and that's it. From there you will get access to a map with all the results of this poll. The colore in the map show the estimated results according to the questions provided by the Facebook users that installed the Application.

Also you can find in this Application other diferent types of polls where you can answer which of the candidates is better for this and that, and provide a free comment around the question asked.

On this Application every time you participate either by answering questions, or playing the Trivia or voting other candidates you gain points that will let you postulate for different "positions"in the future elections, so if yo want to run for president you really have to take this App seriuosly.

I think that one positive thing about this Application is that the Facebook users will get the chance to raise their voice and maybe say something interesting that can help others to make a wise decision while voting.

I liked this application, specially more when I compare it with the old one Reviewed and I see how many improvements can be done in so few time. My qualification for this Facebook Review is 4 out of 5.

Facebook Application Review of Wisheo

Group Gift now in FACEBOOK

Today's Facebook Application Review is about the beta version of the App called Wisheo. This new Application is about creating groups to buy gifts for other people, or for you if you use the application as a wish list.

When you install this App, the first thing you have to do is to create a group gift. When you do this you have to specify for which person or event you want to start collecting the money for the present and when you need to have collected all the contributions to make it on time if there is a specific deadline.
After that the Facebook Application will ask you to search the present you want to buy with the group and then the fund raising begins.

While I was making this Facebook Review, I created a group to buy me an Iphone for my birthday, and setting up the group and listing the desired product did not take me more than 2 minutes. The application runs very fast and everything is very user friendly.

In addition to all the described above the Application allows you to track Contributions (and non participating also), and once the desired amount of money is achieved you can also send thank you Emails to all the people that collaborated to achieved the wished gift.

One very important thing very well solved by this Facebook Application is that all the Payments and contributions are only handled by Paypal providing security to the users in all their transactions.

My qualification for this Facebook Application Review is 4.3 out of 5, I think this application provides an interesting solution to the group gift and also offers all the extras for the users comfort.
