Facebook Application Hotness!

I want to be hot!!!!

Hey there today's review is about this fun application called hotness that not only surprised me the rankings and how they are built but also how many of my contact list added this application before me to start ranking themselves like Rockstars.

It's beginning is very simple, it starts with a main window where you have to make a selection out of your 15 hottest friend to give them points or to invite them to the application if yet they have not installed it. After this you have access to the place where you can see the ranking of the hottest people out of all your FACEBOOK FRIENDS, plus your points to be used.
This points are really interesting because you can use them either to bump people or grind people.

If you bump up somebody it means that you will give them an extra point to their charts so as to help them scale and rank better than before. This option can be anonymous, or not depending what you are expecting from the other person,,,LOL
And if you grind somebody don't worry.... IT'S ALWAYS anonymous, so grind as many as you want!!!

I particularly got into that game starting to bump and grind until I realized that my own moves moved me from a really good 4 rank, to disappear from the top ten of my FACEBOOK FRIENDS.... so maybe next time I ll learn to enjoy the high a little bit more time!!.

Anyway my people, this app is simply and can be useful for you if you are the type of person that things that little small messages of caring or affection can bring closer the people you like!!!
Enjoy it!!
My qualification is a 3.4 out of 5!!

Facebook Application Optical Illusion Challenge

Of course, today I opened my Facebook and over around 20 applications invitations to install this particular one catched my attention so here it goes the review for the Optical Illusion Challenge. My life story with this type of mind games has always been sad because I am not to good for this kind off stuff.. or maybe I wasn´t in the past and because I had a score of 100% - Yes as you read 100% - this review is half review and half show off!! LOL.

This simple Facebook Application provides 12 optical challenges. But first things first What the heck is an optical Illusion?? . According to Wikipedia:

"An optical illusion is characterized by visually perceived images that, at least in common sense terms, are deceptive or misleading. The information gathered by the eye is processed by the brain to give a percept that does not tally with a physical measurement of the stimulus source. There are two main types of illusion: (1) physiological illusions that are the effects on the eyes and brain of excessive stimulation of a specific type - brightness, tilt, color, movement; and (2) cognitive illusions where the eye and brain make unconscious inferences.

In less words, is something that you see but is not there. So here is this Facebook application to fool us for a while with 12 different challenges where we are tested while asked to answer some things that we see that apparently seem to be really clear to our eyes but to our surprise most of times in the first try we are wrong.

So enjoy it and see how good you are perceiveing the inexistent, on what you see,

My qualification for this app is 3.0 out of 5, because It ´s interesting but after the 12 questions there´s nothing else to do with this app.

If you are looking for more complicated Illusions check this site that I found, and now is giving me a hard time specially with this one the I am linking in here, for review. Here I copy the challenge for you.

Facebook Application Rock Paper & Scissors by Acubix SB and Christopher Tan

I have this friend from Canada called Dan, actually he has been my roommate for the last months and the other day came with this pack of strategies to play this never old fashioned Game. Just for you to know my interest on this game and his detailed named strategies with the players profile behind them moved me to google this RPS letters to see how many fans out there would be deeply involved with this mail, or at least enough to make a web site about it, while for my surprise I found 522000 matches for this keyword.

Starting up with the domanin www.worldrps.com that preety much covers all the WORLD RPS news. Then moving to some sites that sell strategies books for this game as well.

Obviously searching on my Facebook applications I found this fun and "challenging" one, which I am about to review.

This Facebook app called Rock, Paper and Scissors is about challenging the intellect of our friends by sending them threads. It´s really simple and basic. To get started we can see all the names of people in our list plus another list of the ones that already have this app installed. So the only thing that we have to do is to choose our move and the people to challenge. As usual I´ve chose the Rock move, so now it´s all about waiting my friends to reply.

Interesting about this Facebook application are the rankings with a global top 200 chart, and the groups created around this game of crazy people on them. So to my amusement there are way more funs of this never old fashion "sport" - is this to much? - than I ever thought and the excitement to receive my friends reply´s is slowly growing inside of me.

My qualification is a 2.5 out of 5, hope you like it and start playing some smart moves, even though is hard to predict our oponents move. Play this app, improove yourself and maybe one day you´ll get your pass to the world RPS championship, with a 10.000 dollars prize. - for real.

ENJOY!!

Facebook Application, Warren Buffett Quotes by Jerry Ching, Zada Ong and Mike Onghai

Heyyyyyyyyyyyy Who is this cute old guy???, yes I know I didn´t knew who he was until I found this application surfing deep in my Facebook.
Just for you to know this cute old man named Warren Buffet is the third richest man of the world according to the rankings spread out around the web after the Mexican Carlos Slim, and the famous Bill Gates.
This application as it´s names explains pretty much works us a quote database that simplifies the process of searching some of his lessons providing one quote a day for us to learn some of the tips that leaded this man to make so much money.

He is also known as the "Sage of Omaha" or the "Oracle of Omaha" because of his smart investments all over the globe.
So if you are willing to learn some of the main ideas of a brilliant entrepreneur this is a good time to learn and incorporate some tiny knowledge while you are "investing" some of your time on the internet. I am the type of person that really enjoys reading quotes, because I really believe most of the times they simplify huge ideas and experience, as well as describe in a particular way the one that is saying, when you investigate a little bit about the person. So for me my friends this application is an interesting one that install and check every once and then.

PS: he is really rich (fortune estimated on 52 bill), so maybe some of his business tips can be very useful!!.

My qualification is a 3 our of 5, I like this Facebook App.

Facebook Application, What Drink Are You?

Facebook Application WDUR?
AAAAAAAAAAAAA, I've just finished this post and before pressing the publish button I-smart guy almost top of my class- ERASED THE WHOLE POST, so here I go again.

Today's review wasn't supposed to be about this application, but just one minute before I started writing today's post, as usual I checked my facebook to see that interesting application that my friend Ana sended me... so here we go.

"You are "A Shot of Hard Liquor"!
You're a beast, a party animal, and in trouble with the law. You drink tables under the table, and your tolerance can only be matched by your drive to drink past your tolerance. Remember that time last year that you go so hammered that you stole a police car just to see if it had satellite radio? Probably not. "

That's right I am a party animal that never can get enough... because according to the quiz I made to know what kind of drink I am, this was the answer I've got. So now I just feel like quitting everything getting wasted and go out all night long... -LOL

Well seriously this application was fun and easy to work with, the only recommendation that I have to make is that it would be really really nice to be able to see what kind of drink is the person that sended me the opportunity to finally know-cuse not knowing what kind of drink I am, was almost killing me -.

Saying this I give to this facebook app a 2.5 out of 5, not a big thing but good enough to write some lines about it.

Cheers!!

Facebook Application, Hot Potatoe

Hi today´s review is about the Hot Potatoe Application, a fun simple and entertaining app, based on the idea that your facebook friends will received your hot potato and pass it around for you to see how far it travels around the globe. Here is their explanation

"Here's how it works. See the potatoes below? They're hot! You have to throw them to your friends. Then you can come back and see how far your potatoes got around the world!" ... simple and fun.

Now let´s see the different options
  • My potatoes, is where I can see my little friends ready to take of.

  • Potatoes I´ve touched, is the record of potatoes from our friends that have passed from our hands to keep on traveling.

  • Top Potatotes, No need to explain this, but can use this space to congratulate Jarkko with an amazing top score of 217 people tocuching ans passing around his Hot Potatoe.

  • Comments, even though I thought when I first saw this tag that NO ONE would post anything in there, to proove me wrong there are around 29000 comments of this application.... crazy world.

Facebook App Hot potatoe

Well thats preety much it, but two thing that I would add to this application to make it really interesting. First I think it could be really interesting if you could post a message in your hot potatoe like save the planet- Hard rock fun... haha - or something else to spread the message around the world. Second I think that it would be really nice if you had the chance to see all the potatoes trips drawed in a map with the countryes and citys.

That´s it, not a must install but a cute application. My score is 2.5 out of 5. Looking forward to seeing some improovements to raise this score.

Enjoy!!
